Thursday, July 18, 2008 - The 5th Annual Luke Boisi Memorial Benefit at Battery Gardens in New York City: The purpose of the Memorial Benefit is twofold: to celebrate Luke's life and to introduce the event's attendees to the powerful cause of mentoring. Over the past years, hundreds of Luke's friends and family have come together for the Memorial Benefit. The evening featured a four hour top-shelf open bar, along with a catered buffet style dinner with passed Hors D'Oeuvres and a silent auction featuring an incredible array of items including Mets and Yankees tickets, restaurant packages, luxury vacations, and other exciting items. Also featured were New York City mentoring programs, who answered questions about mentoring and how FUN and EASY mentoring is.
